book tour -- University Bookstore Seattle, WA

I'll be speaking tonight at 7pm PST at the University Bookstore in lovely Seattle, WA. I lived in Seattle for a few years while working for Intel Research (and my degree), and I love this place. Kind of a rougher version of Portland. Anyway, if you're around please come out and experience the Robopocalypse first hand!

The ROBOPOCALYPSE is here!

Oh, hi!
Wow... my first novel is released today!

ROBOPOCALYPSE tells the story of a group of people trying to survive after technology has turned against us. I've been so lucky to get great press so far, and a great push from Doubleday. And it doesn't hurt that Spielberg plans to direct the movie...

Stephen King called it amazing. The New York Times says it’s “an ingenious, instantly visual story.” And Clive Cussler calls it “a brilliantly conceived thriller that could become horrific reality.”

And today -- finally -- you can buy ROBO from any of these fine retailers!

So please, buy Robopocalypse for yourself, your friends, and any family pets!

Robo is Barnes & Noble Sci-Fi Pick of the Month

Thanks, James!
The science fiction and fantasy expert at Barnes and Noble has chosen Robopocalypse as his top book for the month of June.
"Topping my list of June titles is Daniel H. Wilson's Robopocalypse, a cautionary but -- we can only hope -- not prophetic tale about our reliance on technology. While its themes are well worth pondering, what makes it especially apt for summer reading is the action-packed plot that brings them to life..."

Only four days left until Robopocalypse goes out!

In the meantime, I realize that I'm awfully lonely on GoodReads.com. I've got 20 friends and they're the best but... if you're on the site, go ahead and say hello!
